Crazy Cancun

It has been the greatest and weirdest vacation.
The hotel was so beautiful and smelled so good and the yoga music was playing all day long. They let you pick aromatherapy for your room each day, good stuff!!!
The ocean was amazing! amazing! And then we had some adventures that were out there.
I decided that traveling is awesome cause you get to see so many thing you do not expect.
NOW FOCUS FOR STORIES:
1. There is a huge contrast between Cancun hotel zone which is like a fancy California area and the inland area. Poverty rules. Once you get out of the hotel area to the inland , you feel you are in a 3rd world country. The houses are torn, old, roads are messy, people look tired, poor...
2. You would Expect people in the hotel to speak more English, but no, only few, the rest assume you will know Spanish. Weird.
3.We had a tropical storm so we decided to check the pyramided (suppose to have something to so with the Lamanites) , tat was 100 miles each way on a toll way that cost 22 dollars each way! If yo want to turn around you might have to drive 30,40 miles before the next RETORNO. That made us claustrophobic.
4. We got to the Lamanites haha, but after trying to understand why we can't get in, since they spoke 0 English, we met an American family that the husband was as annoyed as me. So, we broke in the and snack into the place once the fat guy went to take a break. The kids fricked out cause they thought we are gonna get arrested or something, not knowing that Mexico will want your money not your body in jail.They were like 6-8 yrs old so poor kids running after us in the storm to see the stupid pyramids.
We so them , could not take a picture cause the rain was crazy. and drove 100 miles back!
5. Road signs-they look so organized but they are there to get you. we got confused since the exit sign shows up the second you need to exit!! lol.
6. Speed- changes in hotel zone from 40 to 80 every 2 miles , why???
7. Because the Mexican police wants you to feel confused and then stop you and try to extort you !!!! No guesses here cause we were stopped and this is the conversation:

Mexican Police Officer: Hola, the speed limit is much lower over there
where are you staying?
Ed: Aqua
MPO: Come out of the car , I will talk to my Capitan.
they go out at 9 pm leaving me aloe on the car-hello???
times go by lol and more times...
I get impatient put my sandals on and go out to see what the heck is going on.
MPO: The ticket for the unknown speeding is 120 dollars and we will have to take your license, you pay it down town.
Ed: what is the address to pay?
MPO: Let me talk to my Capitan(who seats in the dark in the police car.
They look for an address and don't seem to quite find it
MPO: If you want you pay us 60 dollars now and we let you go
MIKI: NO, we will pay down town(right), thank you though.
MPO: Let me talk to my Capitan.
MPO: how many days you have left here?
Ed: 4 days
MPO: ok , we let you go.
HA?
8. When the flag is red/black don't swim: some people don't know colors, so they went in the ocean and got swept away far enough to get really scared and we had the whole hotel seat by the pool and watch hoe they are brought back to the shore. Ed was making sure they don't need CPR , so he walked to them while holding 2 cameras cause he was about to take pictures of me just before it started. funny picture.

We are staying at Aqua Cancun.

BTW i will have to post the pains of finding a swim suit.
I guess they only make some for teens that are not yet developed or for
people who don't care for style.
So I had to compromise.

Oh and I ordered 5 USED books from Isreal (yes you can) which is way cheaper than new, YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAYAY
Oh, and i hate when pople don't respond to my posts, texts, reallly reallly fast.
It's not a hint really , just expresssion of my feelings.

Post Residency Days

So we went to the Temple with Daniel!!! It was a great experience not including the fact I had a virus and I thought I'll get everyone sick.
We are now beginning our time off from any work/school for 2 weeks. Don't expect us to drop by though (-:

I am in touch with really good friends from childhood that were like
step sibs to me for many years.
It is so funny, i thought I was so much bigger than them, but we are 2 years apart.
I guess cause I was always in charge.
I will post pictures soon .
